This work combines movement and stillness in how colour has been applied to the page. Layers of ink swells across the page, deepening in hues as it comes into contact with iron oxide, citric acid and soda. The strokes, seen as a whole, create a balance of motion, allowing the viewer to move in and out of the positive and negative space.

All natural colours produced are organic and living. Every effort will be made to preserve the lightfastness of the colours, however there is no guarantee the colours will not change over time. You are advised to keep the paintings away from direct sunlight and to enjoy observing them if they do change.
