AUSTRALIS

‘AUSTRALIS’ is the second iteration of our collaboration as ‘The Earth Spun Light’.

The concept that led ‘AUSTRALIS’ into being was the pursuit of capturing the solar energy of specific sites. Australia is a country of sky as much as it is of land, with cyanotype as our medium we wanted to travel the continent and harness the intense sunshine of the places we visited. We exposed the colour on site as we explored the landscape and imprinted its impressions on paper and yupo.
